OK, forse è solo la mia ossessione da pseudo-fan di Lady Gaga, però, non potevo non spendere due parole su quest'ultimo brano.
Io adesso non so se sia stata una trovata commerciale, o un semplice espediente di mercato. Però, da come si è visto altre volte, la Sig.rina Stefani ci ha mostrato più volte la sua ferma posizione riguardo il mondo omosessuale e il suo appoggio si è sempre fatto "sentire". Con questa canzone possiamo dire che si arriva al punto cardine della filosofia di vita di Gaga: "Tutti sono superstar, perché tutti siamo nati come siamo." E per chi è credente "I'm beautiful in my way 'cause god makes no mistakes" - "Sono perfetto così perché non c'è errore nel progetto di Dio" (Trad. a cura di Isolander ). Ovviamente ognuno di noi vede nel testo un suo significato particolare. E se può sembrare poco innovativo dal punto di vista musicale, devo dire che al contrario è perfettamente coerente con il tema trattato, ovvero la libertà di essere ciò che si è. La canzone richiama in modo quasi ovvio uno dei grandi successi di inizi anni '80 della quantomeno indiscussa icona gay Glora Gaynor: I Will Survive, che è l'unno ufficioso del mondo gay.
La canzone è un omaggio al mondo gay, in tutta la sua varietà.
Non posso che stringere la mano a Lady Gaga.

Secondo me Lady Gaga e' il fenomeno musicale degli ultimi 10 anni,le sue canzoni spaccano(in tutti i sensi perche' la odi oppure la adori)il personaggio e' indubbiamente abilissimo ad autopromuoversi e la casa discografica ci sta' marciando alla grande anche in un periodo in cui il downlod pirata sta' minando le fonti di finanziamento delle stesse case,il fatto che su itunes il brano abbia gia' superato 1000000 di scarichi legali la dice tutta.
I suoi testi non sono x nulla banali e descrivono una voglia di emergere assolutamente unica,credo che il talento non gli manchi x nulla e anche se inevitabilmente nelle melodie pesca abilmente nel gia' fatto(qualcuno dice che "born this way" assomigli molto ad "Espress yourself" di Madonna ma a me non sembra proprio).
Quanto questo aiuti la causa LGBT non e' dato a sapersi,ma indubbiamente la ragazza aiuta molti ragazzi a prendere coscienza del proprio essere ed a uscire dal guscio di paure e complessi(quantomeno negli USA).
x me Stefani Angeline Germanotta e' una grandissima artista.

Lei ha una bellissima voce...è senza dubbio un animale da palcoscenico...ma non mi piace l'idea che un artista si arricchisca facendo leva su "categorie"...la vivo come una autoghettizzazione e non mi piace per niente...
